Remote Control Macros / Scenes

A macro command is a series of remote control commands that execute in sequence when activated. Macros can usually be assigned to most remote controls except factory supplied remotes.

A Typical home theater macro for the play movie command might be:

• Turn power on to Projector
• Turn power on to Receiver
• Turn power on to the DVD Player
• Wait 2 Seconds
• Set Receiver to DVD Source
• Set Projector to Component Mode
• Play DVD

A home theater scene is a series of remote commands and macro commands to cause a specific series of events to occur.

An example of a home theater scene might be:

• Play Movie
• End Movie
• Shut off Theater
• Wait 2 Seconds
• Set Receiver to DVD Source
• Set Projector to Component Mode
• Play DVD
