Glossary Sample

Block Diagram – a diagram of a system that represents the relationship of parts to each other. In an audio/video system, it depicts the connections between all of the components.

Cable Schedule - a listing of the wiring installed or pulled for structured wiring, that identifies type of wire, source, destination, and use.

Schematic - a detailed drawing of the physical connections of equipment.
